BSC Global Maker Incubator

Tangshan BSC Global Maker Incubator Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of BSC Holding. Founded in June 2015 on a 40,000-square-metre site, it is a national-level makerspace and a national-level technology business incubator, and holds the National Women's Civilised Post award.

The incubator runs a human-resources service platform and provides meeting rooms, a pitch hall, a national-level staff reading room, a staff canteen and a gym. Its guiding idea is to share the world's best thinking and grow the region: a modern innovation centre for small and medium-sized enterprises, with a full chain of incubation services that gives technology companies a ladder to climb and gives Tangshan's innovation drive a base. By bringing resources together and refining its services, it gives founders a sound environment in which an idea becomes a business.

Through the BSC Makerspace and the incubator, more than 500 start-ups have been nurtured, over 150 of which have been recognised as technology-based SMEs.

The Lunan branch of the Tangshan Human Resources Service Industrial Park occupies floors 1 to 3 of the incubator. It is building an internationally competitive human-resources cluster and a shared high-end HR ecosystem for the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, using technology to sharpen the information-technology industry and to lift the quality of the human-resources sector across Hebei. With the domestic market as its base, it looks for demand, drives innovation in HR services and connects them with more fields, so that innovation grows in scale and quality together. Talent drives innovation here: the park ties its own growth to the people it gathers, aiming to be a magnet for high-end talent, and works towards a closed loop in which the talent chain advances the innovation chain, the innovation chain serves the industrial chain, and the industrial chain draws in more talent.

Looking ahead, the company will bring smart systems to property services, digital tools to project management, a platform approach to start-up services and an ecosystem view to its industrial footprint. It will attract skilled professionals, incubate specialised, high-tech enterprises and develop well-rounded entrepreneurs in technology.
