SOLARURBS sits in the Giza district of Cairo, the group's first overseas urban development taken forward as a co-development. At its centre is a low-density community of large villas; around it, culture and tourism, retail and entertainment, education, hotels and healthcare.
BSC works here by partnership: development, investment and the introduction of industrial resources, explored together with partners on the ground.

Beside one of the world's great cultural sites: about 10 km from the pyramids, 3 km from Saqqara, 11 km from the Grand Egyptian Museum, half an hour from Sphinx International Airport and central Cairo.
A planning study covering about 32 million square metres, held deliberately low-density and mixed.
Villas, education, culture and leisure, commerce and conference, hotels and healthcare, planned together rather than in phases.
A co-development: Chinese capability in city building, advanced manufacturing, green energy and supply chains, matched to Egyptian resources and demand.
