BSC Group general manager Guo Lu led the company's senior management team on a special inspection of safety and construction quality at the Majestic Palace site in Fengnan. The inspection aimed to reinforce site safety responsibilities, strengthen quality control across the whole construction process, and keep the project on track to a high standard so that the product delivered lives up to its promise.
When the team arrived, the Fengnan Majestic Palace site was at the critical main-structure stage and work was proceeding in an orderly way. The executives put on hard hats and went straight onto the working areas to see conditions for themselves.
Working against the company's internal engineering standards and safety regulations, the team carried out a systematic check of high-risk points including deep excavation support, high formwork systems, temporary site electrics, lifting equipment and site fire-safety arrangements.
The inspection went beyond a visual review. Using levelling rules and other measuring tools, the team spot-checked key trades such as window frame installation, the flatness of concrete pours and waterproofing workmanship, applying quantified standards to construction detail at every stage.
Speaking on site, Guo Lu said the industry has entered a stage where quality comes first. "We are not just building houses, we are building homes people can trust. Senior management comes to the site to open a direct line between management and the teams on the ground, to look at construction detail from the customer's point of view, and to make sure what we hand over is not just a building but a stable, comfortable and reassuring place to live."
After the walk-through, a special working meeting was held on site. Every issue found was logged in a rectification register with a defined solution, responsible party and deadline, to be closed out item by item. The meeting also set out arrangements for the coming construction schedule, coordination between overlapping trades and safety measures for the next stage.
