The final of the "Culture and Tourism Cup" Tangshan Youth E-commerce Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in the sixth-floor multi-purpose hall of BSC Plaza. The competition was designed to support young e-commerce founders, bring together quality innovation resources and give young entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their projects and connect with resources.
The competition was organised in three rounds: an opening pitch, a debate and a brainstorming session, a format built around the practical demands of e-commerce start-ups. The young teams presented the creative concepts, business models, development plans and market potential of their projects, learning from each other and refining their plans as they competed. After the final round, the Elephant Kingdom online flower project took first place on the strength of its creative design, execution capability and market value.
As a dedicated competition for young e-commerce founders, the event focused on innovation in e-commerce and the growth of young entrepreneurs, giving them a professional platform to exchange experience and connect with resources, and drawing together a strong pool of e-commerce start-up projects.
Since its launch in May, the competition attracted more than 300 young e-commerce entrepreneurs from across the city. Entries passed through preliminary selection, semi-finals and the final, with expert judging on innovation, feasibility, fit with e-commerce and market potential. Nine outstanding e-commerce projects were selected to share the competition's dedicated start-up prize fund.
All the winning projects have been brought into the incubation pipeline, where they can receive dedicated start-up guidance, training, industry resource matching and space in an incubation facility, giving them a solid base for launch, iteration and commercial growth.
BSC has long been active in innovation and entrepreneurship services. Using its own commercial premises, makerspace facilities and industry resources, it regularly hosts start-up competitions and has built a professional platform for exchange and incubation. Through competition-led learning and creation, it brings together young innovators, develops promising projects and gives young founders a stage and a path to grow. Going forward, BSC will continue to build on its platform, improve its innovation and entrepreneurship services, focus on supporting young founders and the e-commerce industry, and provide the space, resources and services to help more young start-ups take root and grow.
