BSC Holding held its third staff fun sports day at Tangshan Sports Park. Ten teams and close to 100 employees from group headquarters and the business units took part, competing with energy and building team spirit in a display of the enthusiasm of BSC's people.
Group chairman Hu Jian opened the event, thanking all employees for their commitment and hard work over the year, encouraging everyone to keep exercising and to embrace healthy work and active living, and wishing the sports day every success. Representatives of the athletes and referees then took their oaths and the games began.
The programme was varied, combining traditional track and field events with fun team games that tested individual fitness and reflexes as well as teamwork and coordination. Setting aside their usual office composure, employees threw themselves into the events, teams competed hard and worked closely together, and the cheering and applause made for a lively, friendly atmosphere.
After several rounds of competition, team and individual awards were decided and presented on the spot. Each award recognised the effort of the competitors and reflected the team's spirit.
