To raise safety awareness and emergency response skills among tenant company staff and strengthen workplace safety, the BSC Global Maker Incubator organised an emergency first aid training session open to all. More than 50 tenant companies took part, with participants learning professional first aid knowledge and practising self-rescue and mutual aid skills.
The course was designed around everyday office situations and emergencies, and systematically covered practical skills including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, bleeding control, wound dressing and fracture immobilisation. Professional first aid instructors used real cases to explain the key points, procedures and precautions. Live demonstrations helped participants understand the correct response to different emergencies, clear up common misconceptions and master quick, standardised self-rescue and mutual aid techniques.
In the hands-on session, participants came forward to practise each skill from start to finish. Instructors gave one-to-one guidance, correcting improper technique so that participants could consolidate the theory, master the practical essentials and turn first aid knowledge into skills they can actually use, improving everyone's ability to respond in an emergency.
The training was well received. Its content matched real workplace needs, was highly practical and filled gaps in everyday first aid knowledge. It not only improved individual safety skills but also established a first line of defence for workplace safety and employee health, contributing to a safe and stable office environment for tenant companies.
