Du Rui, member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, led a delegation to the BSC women's entrepreneurship and employment base to review how women's federation organisations support women in starting businesses and finding work.
The base addresses the main obstacles women face in entrepreneurship and employment, offering a one-stop service platform for female university students and other priority groups. It connects employers with job seekers, runs training in new skills, and helps women gain professional qualifications and find flexible work that fits around family life, supporting women's innovation and the local economy.
The delegation met teams of female student entrepreneurs to learn about their current operations, business progress and plans. Guided by the principle of sharing global know-how to drive regional growth, the base provides tenants with office space and other basic facilities, helps match them with investors and financing, offers professional advice on operations and organisation, and runs structured, tiered entrepreneurship training, forming a full-chain incubation service.
The base will continue to develop its incubation platform, deepen its services for women entrepreneurs and job seekers, and act as a companion and supporter for women starting businesses, contributing to entrepreneurship and employment in the region.
