Dubai is the group's overseas platform. From it BSC works across the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa and the wider international market, in four fields: real estate development, international trade, advanced manufacturing and financial investment.
What the group carries abroad is China's industrial base, its supply chains, its capital and twenty-five years of project experience. The work is done with local partners, through joint investment and resource integration, on a horizon longer than a single transaction.
In the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa the group looks at residential, retail, office and mixed-use opportunities, through project investment, joint development, asset acquisition and putting resources together, in the form each local market actually wants.
Abroad, the relationships matter more than the transaction: with local government, with companies, with professional firms. Project experience meets local resources, and an investment opportunity becomes an asset that holds its value.
China's manufacturing base and its supply chains, pointed at the markets of the global south: good products, equipment and industrial capability going out, and goods, channels and market access coming back.
The focus is steel and metal products, equipment manufacturing, emergency equipment, new energy, new materials and consumer goods, through trade, channel partnership, supply chain integration and local market development.
Artificial intelligence, robotics, drones and low-altitude aircraft, emergency equipment, new energy and new materials: Chinese technology, equipment, people and industrial capability, working with partners abroad.
The form follows the market and its industrial policy: technology transfer, equipment export, joint investment, local assembly and local manufacture. Chinese technology, overseas resources and a local market, made to work together.
Companies, projects and assets that hold their value over time, through equity investment, project investment, strategic partnership and a diversified allocation, kept in step with the industries the group actually operates in.
Hong Kong and Dubai are the platforms. They connect capital, industry and projects on both sides of the border, and support the development, manufacturing and cross-border work with both money and relationships.
BSC works abroad by partnership: exploring development, investment and the introduction of industrial resources together with partners on the ground.

Urban development · Culture and tourism · Industry · A community at scale
SOLARURBS sits in the Giza district of Cairo, planned as a large mixed urban development. At its centre is a low-density community of large villas; around it, culture and tourism, retail and entertainment, education, hotels and healthcare, so that living, leisure, culture and city services belong to the same place.
Cairo's historical resources and its improving infrastructure are what the plan is built on: a smart, green, sustainable new city with an international outlook and a character that is unmistakably local.
The site is in Giza's core development area, about 10 km from the pyramids, 3 km from Saqqara and 11 km from the Grand Egyptian Museum, half an hour from Sphinx International Airport and from central Cairo, with the high-speed rail and regional road network within reach.
The planning study covers about 32 million square metres. At that scale the plan can stay low-density and mixed: room for a large residential community, for tourism and culture, for commercial services and for the public facilities a city needs.
The villa community is the core, and the rest of the city grows around it: living, culture, tourism, commerce, resort and health, developed together rather than in separate phases.
Low-density housing with landscape and daily amenities. Arts and education, with museums of art, film and music, and space for cultural experience. International themed entertainment tied to Giza's tourism. A commercial centre, shopping, offices, a conference centre and exhibition halls. International hotels and boutique resorts across several price levels. An international medical centre and health facilities for residents and visitors alike.
BSC treats SOLARURBS as a co-development: the group's experience in property development, industrial investment, trade and resource integration, working with Egyptian partners on development, construction and the industries the city will need.
The contribution is specific: urban development, international brands, tourism and culture, industrial partnership, investment and construction, and the Chinese supply chains behind development, city building, advanced manufacturing, green energy and smart infrastructure, matched to Egyptian resources and Egyptian demand.
International design, strategic advice, industry and capital are being brought together to hold an international vision and a project that has to pay for itself in the same frame. That is the model being tested here.
