Over the past several decades, China has undergone a profound transformation from welfare-based housing allocation to a market-oriented housing system. The year 1994 marked an important turning point—and also the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. I was 19 years old when I started an advertising and interior design company, providing clients with corporate identity planning as well as interior and exterior design and construction services. In 2000, I entered real estate sales and marketing; in 2002, I expanded into a chain of real estate brokerage offices. In 2004, beginning with commercial real estate, property development became our core business. In 2024, we began expanding our business globally.
The name BAOSHENGCHANG traces its inspiration to an inscription on ancient bronze vessels from the Guzhu State of the Zhou Dynasty: “A treasured vessel of the Son of Heaven, rising like the sun, bringing prosperity to the nation.” We have always upheld the principle of “Great trust is built on virtue; great enterprise is founded on integrity,” and embraced the values of “Enjoy life and embrace change; innovate with courage and pursue continuous improvement; put customers first and succeed together.” Since the beginning of our journey, we have experienced extraordinary growth, and we will continue writing our story in a future defined by change. We hope to seize the opportunities created by China’s development to achieve a new breakthrough for BAOSHENGCHANG.
China’s past and future, its opportunities and aspirations, are things we continue to experience, pursue and envision. This is an era in which people from every walk of life step onto the stage and new leaders emerge. Today, as China stands as the world’s second-largest economy, we find ourselves at another new starting point, looking ahead with anticipation. The present is already becoming the past, and time moves forward without pause. We must remain alert and keep moving forward with determination.
